Le Bal des Fous
Started in 2011 as a minimal, underground, semi-private party of about 300 guests, Le Bal des Fous went on to become the behemoth is it now famous for, a massive theme-party in the French Riviera, regularly attracting over 3000 people (monthly parties throughout the year, weekly parties during summertime).
Part of the team since its inception (alongside Mozart, Géraldine Hunter, Sacha Muki, Nicolas Masseyeff, Oxia...), my role at Le Bal des Fous has been to craft and polish the warm and liberated atmosphere it is now so appreciated for.
Years of work and intention-setting as the party's official Physionomiste got us from being the talk-of-the-town, to an indisputable institution, drawing crowds from all over our region, country, and European neighbors. People actually booked their holidays around our event dates.
Pictures are worth a thousand words.
I've made this selection to reflect the great spirit of joy and insouciance that attendees encompassed, and brought home with them after an amazing Sunday afternoon of fun & dance.
Because each Bal came with its unique theme, it is easy to see how we appreciated —something I was particularly looking out for at the door— the immense effort some of our habitués would put into creating their costumes for the day; consequently making ours.
